Master Craftsman of Natural Stone

Education

At John Welch Enterprise, Inc., we offer various education courses for installers, manufacturers, and dealers. After each completed course, participants take an exam and receive a Record of Completion if a passing score is earned. You also have the opportunity to pursue designations, industry recognition, and certification after completing an application form with installation experience.

About Your Instructor

John Welch, an ICPI authorized instructor, ICPI certified installer, and NCMA certified expert, instructs many of the courses himself. He has been involved in the hardscape industry since 1995. After working as a laborer learning the trade, John started his company in 1997. He would regularly attend education classes in all industry areas and became ICPI certified in 2008.

John felt the need to pass along all his knowledge to others within the industry, so he started spending the off-season traveling the East coast doing classes for Manufacturers, Dealers, Hardscape Companies, and private groups. He has become very involved in the New England Concrete Manufacturers Association, running their Competition or Judging the Hardscape Installation Competition. Also, John continues to further his knowledge whenever possible by regularly taking industry classes.
