I cannot believe how long it has been since my last blog entry. I would say that I am ashamed of myself, but on top of day to day JWE work, the 2015 John Welch Charity Classic for Camp Good Days work, and all of the other chaos that seems to go on around here daily, all I can say is that life happens.
Summer has been great. As a business, we have kept very busy. One of our longtime designers, Terry Courneen, has retired. Our scheduling board has stayed full, which is a good thing, and our other designers have done an amazing job picking up the extra leads left by the void. We as an organization are stronger than ever, and we attribute this to strategic hiring, team building, and an overall happy atmosphere that we cultivate on a daily basis.
As far as the golf tournament goes, what can we say besides THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE EPIC??!!?? We have been hard at work soliciting previously untapped resources, and the community, as well as those in the sports world, celebrities, and others have come out in DROVES to donate and make this event legendary. We could not be prouder of what we have accomplished, and when you have Maroon 5's manager calling you from his office telling you they have a donation for you, you know it's going to be a good day. If you have a sponsorship or donation in mind, or would like to join us for golf or dinner, please give me a call. We would love to have you, and can promise a fantastic night for an amazing cause.
While we know that winter is coming (don't hit me, please), summer is not over yet! If you have a project you still want done, we have dates in 2015 to fill. If you mention this blog post when you call, and sign your proposal in the next two weeks, we will take 10% off of your total invoice. How cool is that?? My way of making it up to you for saying the dreaded "W" word. You're welcome....
So, I know this was short, sweet, and to the point, but I just wanted to let you know what has been going on around here. It is my personal mission to step up my blogging "game" and write more often. I am a writer at heart, and blogging lets me get some mileage out of that very expensive English degree. :)
Until next time, be well.
